MIKE - POMPEII // UTILITY

MIKE disc-80
Earl’s disc-79
I enjoyed this album it’s a nice switch up from the stuff I’ve been listening to recently. It’s not blow your socks off good but it’s very solid and has some bangers on it. It’s not eithers best work but it works well.

slayr - Half Blood (BloodLuxe)

Burger music this burger music that, this shit is fire idgaf. This is some of the best production I’ve ever heard on album let alone a deluxe. It’s a different sound and I’m all for different with techno/dubstep sort of sound and he goes in on some songs. I’ll admit some of of the lyrics are corny but the production on this album in absolutely ridiculous and this is one of my favorite rap deluxes of all time.

I’m not counting the bonus tracks because they are not good it would be a 82/83 if I added them. Lil B was ahead of his team with euphoric beats and good word play. He influenced the rap game so much it’s crazy to look back on this. Some of my favorite rap songs of all time are on this album. All around very solid album, and a legendary release for rap today.

Cxupsean - Painkillers

smokedope2016 - THE COMEDOWN

Very good LP. He changes it up this album and I thought I wasn’t going to like it but he did such a good job on finding the flow on most of the songs. My favorites-Closing time,Be My Zombie, Smoking Kills

Lil Uzi Vert - Luv Is Rage

Uzis 2nd mixtape and the first released on Spotify. Uzi pioneers SoundCloud rap into what it has become today and he did it very well. A lot of great production on songs and changes his flow constantly throughout the mixtape. Easily one of his best works ever and it was far ahead of its time.
