This album does not feel real. This genuinely feels like a music production that a feeble person like you or I can only dream of. I truthfully do not understand how this album came to be, but I'm so glad it did. From tip to toe, from first track to last, it told such a powerful story. Every single song had a place and a meaning on this album. Not a single minute of your time is wasted. Truly beautiful dream-like album. Probably in my top 5 favorites ever.
Very good individual tracks, however due to how similar some of the tracks sounded, especially throughout the middle, it made for somewhat boring of an experience until the later tracks (Orbit, Madeleine). Decent, but I think some variation would make this a better listen.
Wow. What a start for d4vd. For a debut album this is fantastic. This felt extremely powerful the WHOLE way through. Every song was either catchy, powerful, relatable, or all of them combined. Multiple instances occurred where I found myself resonating with the music, and that made the album that much more enjoyable. I really hope to see another album from d4vd in the near future.
Edit: Review bomb in protest
Beautiful Hexalogy just on the first listens alone. I loved the way each song's lyrics were delivered. Every song felt unique, but it all felt still cohesive. It all told a story, and I thought as it went on it got more and more powerful. Very glad I got to listen to this. One of my favorites.
Easily my favorite Video Game OST ever made. I've given this album probably a total of 70 or more listens. It is such an unforgettable soundtrack. Practically every song is catchy, with beautiful singing from TJ Davis. I'm not a big fan of the Super Sonic Racing <X-TRA Club Mix>, but it's a cool extra for the album. Overall, such a nostalgic and stunning album. Such a gem in music and I hope more people in the future give this a listen, Sonic fans and non-Sonic fans alike.
Very solid album from Daft Punk! I loved the majority of these tracks. I will say, the quality dipped down slightly after Get Lucky and before Contact, but besides that, I adore this album. Such an iconic duo with iconic albums, this included.
