Edward Skeletrix - Museum Music
64

My bread brain can’t wrap around how MID the album is.

While I think the first album is comparatively weaker, I still found only one of the tracks to actually have a certain point of merit, being God. God actually having some awesome production to go with it. Probably one of my more mixed reviews, but I kinda see that with me being a turtul.

Bad Bunny - DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS
77

AM I IN A PARTY?

Alright man, Bad Bunny comes out with an LP full of BANGERZ. Boy I wasn’t expecting to enjoy it as much as I did. It was so energetic. And of course Bad Bunny brings out the fire with infectious beats. I understand why this album is much better the Verano Sin Ti. I just found this album more energetic.

Ethel Cain - Perverts
80

Oh, I am ready to get jump-scared

But in reality, Ethel Cain pulls out another heavy-hitting project under her belt. Cain causes a serene rush through the album track listing. And BRO, I got dizzy from the production that it really blew my mind. It is heavy Like heavy HEAVY. Also the build up in Punish is crazy awesome

Busta Rhymes - Dragon Season... The Awakening

Trump’s Inauguration Speech finna be better than this shi-

Yep. Its bad.

Earl Sweatshirt - solace
97

Alright guys, my bread brain cannot take the emotional prowess on “solace”

First of all, Earl pulled out all the stops on this EP. Solace dives into that point of your life where you don’t expect things to get better, but in the end, this piece of music is a healing took for many. Recommend everyone to listen at least once straight through. Please do yourself a favor.

Delivery - Force Majeure

*Delivery FROM AMAZON HAS FINALLY REACHED YOUR FRONT DOOR*
and no, I didn’t just use my funny number. Because I legit think that Force Majeure has the energy to be a great album, but besides the explosive and fun, quirky nature of the album, it makes it more appeling. But other than the actual sound of the album, it really doesn’t give anything else.
The voices are charismatic but not to the level to where YOU CAN UNDERSTAND THE LYRICS. Like I find it hard to understand it, but in ... read more

Son Lux - Risk of Make Believe
35

Everything Everywhere All At Once Producer makes an EP with little to no substance.
Son Lux, while had a good last year due to EEAAO track, this album is just slop compared to this.
It’s ideas are so abstract that it brings NOTHIN to the table. I think this was meant to be atmospheric, and really the only track explainably fine was the title track, and compered to some in ‘25, this is just weak. No spice. Just bland.

The beat track was the title track because it had some aspects of ... read more

lots of hands - into a pretty room

THIS MAKES ME WANT TO APPRECIATE LIFE.

This album is what serenity sounds like. You will feel real. Production screams nice indie, and the FREAKING LAST TRACK I SWEAR THE LAST TRACK ALWAYS GETS YOU. The last track helen’s song is just too honest and real, and it will get me every time. I’m sorry for being soppy but I felt it.

Otherwise, there were some questionable choices in production, but as a whole, another good project for 2025.

Happy NEW YEAR YOU GUYS 🎆

Logic - Aquarius III
69

Logic has made a better EP than drake, TWICE.

Aight let’s cut to the chase, Logic has been on a hot streak from his 2024’s LP Ultra 85, which was an absolute treat from him. Quite literally these tracks were scraps out of the Ultra 85 track list. While there were some fire tracks, Aquarius III still has the last track to kinda break its atmosphere, but its fulfilling to hear Logic in a better mindset

Metal Bubble Trio - Cucumber
85

U know that feeling when you take that first sip of refreshing Cucumber Water.
Don’t u relate? Lol

On some real stuff, this album just feels like that. Bro and I am saying this out of truth. This is a serene album that with its production choices creates a whimsical experience. And on top of that, it just feels so real, just raw.
My favorite track was the first track. It really surprised me in how the production was taken so seriously, and on top of that, Metal Bubble Trio has such an ... read more

Rose Gray - Louder, Please

my turtul brain is trying to come up with a ~CoMpARiSoN~
Ah yes, if BRAT had a baby with Desire, I want to turn into you.

Yeah this album was just a really fun experience. (I CAN’T rate the tracks yet) but in all honesty, this album is a lot of fun and has all the explosive energy you could want from one. my old account epilepsy has a little bit more details but I found this track list to be quite fun. The first half I found was significantly weaker than the second half, to which the ... read more

Frank Black - Teenager of the Year (30th Anniversary Edition)
81

I feel it from my loaf heart. It’s… (beating), but does it really?

Yes, this record is pretty outstanding from the outlook of comparison from the original version. This version of Frank Black’s original classic spins it into a more visceral and expansive experience. There are moments where the track listing could feel a bit more strung together, but honestly, the attempt at making this new reinvented version is much needed.

Mac Miller - Balloonerism
95

-I’m floating- well, i actually can’t, …
i’m a piece of bread.

Mac Miller and his estate produces one of the best posthumous albums of the century. With some of the best production choice that will make your mind float into a infinitive plane of wonder. If you think my bread brain can’t float, I can float. Mentally. And in some tracks, like Funny Papers and Shangri-La, Miller’s estate brings respect and honor onto Mac’s name. I can truly say that they ... read more

The Alchemist - Bread
84

What a fitting album to start off my account. :D

The Alchemist really hints at rising the yeast on this one. Bread really shows the prowess of Alchemist’s production and the mastery of lyrical flow shown by the features. Well this album was yummy!
