Damn i have been putting off this record for a while now and I think its pretty good. While not being wetdream album ofc I think this has its cool charm to it but some of the songs here can feel a bit lacking like it's missing something. I still enjoy it for what it is
Archie back at it again with some of the most saddest lyrics. The OOZ was something I put off for a while due to the length but ended up by just finishing it at a random night and enjoyed it. This is hands down better than '6 Feet Beneath The Moon' due to me liking more of the rock oriented songs like Vidual, Half Man Half Shark and The Locomotive while the more laid back tracks are more night songs in my opinion. Tho the lyrics themselves are very much on a somber sides with themes ... read more
Man I didn't give this record the proper review but I genuinely grew to liking this a lot. Originally I really thought it was just decent but then I listen to Outlast again and that's when I relisten to this whole album and that's when it clicked. The trumpets and sax on here is just amazing i rlly love when there is different instruments here. Overall a really solid second album by Racing Mount Pleasant and the title of this is just very funny
Such a fun noise emo record. These people are fantastic. Fox has been in my rotation for a while
This record feels like what I thought Marilyn Manson music was when I was a child idk why. Besides that, this record definitely has some very interesting parts but most songs feels very flat like Pain Fountain or changer. Other than that, the band vocalist and drummer goes really hard in the tracks and honestly I like some of the tracks being played live in the KEXP performance
I hate to say it but this might be a bop. If bbno$ surprises me with music like this he might win a fan
Such a fun listen,I really enjoyed it. Wish the band was still here cuz I definitely love this album
I love u Edgar Wright for making this fantastic movie and soundtrack
AHHHH. King Krule debut is surprisingly good since the only song i knew off this album was Out Getting Ribs and was not expecting some jazz and trip hop section on these songs. The songs here have a specific sound i really enjoyed throughout the duration of this album and i personally think it fits the album cover in that way. The standouts has to be A Lizard State, Neptune Estate, Border Line and Out Getting Ribs
This record is really good slacker rock and makes me wanna listen to her other discography since this one was pretty good icl. Not much to say but i love Francis forever
Idc what most people say but i love that the tracks arent remastered brings layer to it. This is their "album" after the departure of Isaac and they wrote entire new songs for this live sets which are all amazing. I love the opening with the saxophone starting the 'Up Song' to Tyler singing so beautifully and then the piano, drums and all the other instruments coming along all together. Apart from that, this record is just amazing with songs like Turbines/Pigs being an ... read more
Post-Punk at its rawest moments. This debut album is definitely a must listen as it shows how brilliant they went with their sounds to Isaac vocals, Lewis saxophones and just the opening got me hooked especially with the transition afterwards with Athens, France
Its a nice litte album. Doesnt do a lot for a debut but its fine for what it is
Forever Howlong has the female members contributing to do their voices on the song and they are definitely really goated at that. I love the entirety of this album and their art rock formula. Definitely not better than their debut album 'AFUT' since Isaac Woods left but they did their best on here
I mean this music makes falling apart seem like art. BCNR is a band that i never got around to because i thought their music wasnt for me since it was a really long album for me at that time until i got around to listen to this album and damn did i miss out when i was 13. This whole album is just the finest art rock record ig (i am so bad at describing this) and it was sad to know that their main singer Isaac Woods sadly depart from the band since i thought his whole voice on the album was ... read more
