ayy shout out bruno man, but I aint trynna hear all that. This the real fall-off.
I really like City Walls, the singles, and the conclusion to the lore. But the rest of the album just feels like filler that Tyler threw together to have 13 tracks, nothing much to say about it. I was expecting hard-hitting songs and a direct follow-up to Clancy, but we were given a throwback to Vessel (2012), which isn't really my cup of tea. I respect the hustle and the commitment to the story for 10 years, but I'm just glad it's over at this point.
Honestly, I was hoping to at least enjoy this, but Lydia really surprised me (for the better). This is a genuinely great album and breaks some creative barriers that I didn't expect from her. So happy with this. I'm giving it a 75 because it does get a bit weaker in the second half. (MVPs: The Bomb, Puppet, Trust Fall)
30 tracks is really a rollercoaster. I'll give it a 70 because the highlights here are really good but most of this is filler fr
