I like to think of myself as a flower. a daffodil, if you will. This song is the gloomy rain I need to thrive and grow, with paranoid, the track after being the sunlight. It’s difficult to put this song in a review, to describe its significance to me in words, look at them and say “hey, I think that’s enough” because it will never be enough. This is probably rushed, but in my 4-5 years of being a fan of Kanye West, this album has grown on me more and more. The artistic vulnerability and raw emotional sound of it has changed me more than I can express in a review. The production and the melodic songs influenced hip hop in a way that was never done before and in my opinion this is the best Kanye album of all time. Bare, open, and real.
