Imagine if fakemink and Black Kray linked up, shit would be generational. But yeah this album was great, fakemink displays his production skills amazingly throughout, and I'm loving the witch house implementation on this album too. Cover art is probably one of my favourites this year too as it encapsulates the title and with the additional grain, it also can image the production too. What. Happened. Like I woke up, checked AOTY to expected 80+ and was met with it in the yellow, which surprised me. So I listened and realised why. A lot of screechy production (gang that is not experimental), the same flows on every song and overall just music far from the quality standpoint on any project made after 2018. Ugh it annoys me to see him never return to what made me a LUCKI fan: his cloud rap music. Like that shit was so good and interesting as not only the production was great, but his monotone and drugged flows / voice matched the beats great. On the other hand, these same flows and voice simply don't go well with the trap and plugg style he's drifted into: this has been an issue since he started this transformation.
