I wish this kept up a bit more of the NON-STOP-DISCO grooves in the second half cuz the first half flows like butter, but I love the wine mom energy Jessie is employing on this. Definitely getting more spins.

i feel you can draw a line from the influence keiji haino’s collabs with sumac had on aaron turner to the experimentation found in this album, and i think that’s fucking awesome.
bonus points for sincerity and zeal, makes the album never feel boring/phoned in throughout it’s double LP runtime, even if it’s a bit bumpy. it’s nice to have a bit of hope music in the mega disillusioned 2020s
