"Po-po-po-pokerface", is all I hear from the intro melody.
This, in my opinion, is still one of the best Math Rock/Post-Hardcore records out there (but not completely up there). Incredibly dynamic and catchy, super intricate and interesting guitar and drum work; ashamed they didn't make any more projects after this.
This is a very shotty album. I can tell they're trying to go for something big, but the mix isn't doing that any justice. Most of the songs are also super drawn out and one note; making things feel tedious and boring. Not to mention most of the big riffs smother the other elements that should've been amplified (no pun intended), which makes things feel lackluster. I know they could've done so much more with this. One of the best alt-metal records out there. Doesn't take itself too seriously and knows exactly what it is and why. It also has some of the best drum performances ever in an album. Only drawback is the record labels meddling of the bands original artistic vision. Agent Orange (if it wasn't a stylistic choice) had parts blatantly censored, and others that clearly aren't.
