It didn’t take long to get used to Lucy’s very unique vocal inflection and unorthodox voice to realize how great this project is; each song clearly shows influence from other underground artists’ beats like prettifun, Redda, Ken Carson, and OsamaSon.
Sk8star’s debut studio album is extremely polished and clear in the vision it delivers, but replacing the dark cloud instrumentals with a mainstream Atlanta sound causes him to lose the uniqueness that created him.
Kayo’s catchy flows and voice over extremely polished and fairly unique beats makes this the best EP so far of 2026
THC ABUSER was the first song I heard from matt proxy that told me he was different and next up; wish the EP had more of the first 2 songs.
Solid project that marks where Sk8star starts turning towards a more mainstream sound.
Might be my favourite B4 tape from Nine Vicious, almost every song has a different vibe and production is insane across each track.
A few of these songs standout and are extremely catchy and replayable but the EP in total falls short on expanding Hardrock’s established sound; his work from before was much more unique and creative.
The EP where slayr was still finding his sound, being highly influenced by SoFaygo and the emerging underground scene from 2021, but still delivers a good project.
Due to being his first LP, the mixing on this sounds less polished compared to his newer works. However, the hits of this album may be top 10 in his discography.
While not his best work, this combines his unique style with a more mainstream approach; the most polished work so far.
OsamaSon’s ability to create countless catchy and melodic hits is underestimated.
