"F# A# ∞" took me on the same emotional rollercoaster as "Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven", which is definitely not a bad thing. The dreary, post-apocalyptic atmosphere, populated with its hysterical, Jesus-obsessive denizens, is absolutely breathtaking! The structuring of all three tracks, from their long buildups to their explosive climaxes, is absolutely mind-blowing for a debut! Nothing hits me hard with its emotional brevity like GY!BE does.
This is the prime example of "Show. Don't tell." in auditory storytelling.
