Will admit, not a fan of my decision to skip 11 years of their work, going from moonlight -> negative day... But alas! My stupidity will not stop my stupid self from shoddily reviewing this... s-album.
Good Tiger started off with an album that sounded wonderful and did interesting things vocally and instrumentally, but did not feel smooth and cohesive, like it wasn't so much a complete album experience and instead an EP. And as a huge fan of Burger World Peace, and many other albums ... read more
cute ep, cute band, charming (This was written prior to the third track.)
track by track ranking, for literally no reason other than it's only 5 songs. and i'm bored!
Lydia: mid vocals that imo cover the instrumentals far too much, i think they were trying to go for the staples of shoegaze vocals but missed the mark. with work could be improved.
청호춘가: GREAT synth intro, much more enjoyable song. the instrumental shines here much more than previously. i
still dislike the ... read more
i really, really like y'all don't know ma body! probably my favorite brokie track i've ever heard
cute dream pop album! really neat instrumentals, but nothing crazy. vocals could use some development (tropical night is rough...) but i have high hopes for this artist. favorite track was probably fish, but blue flash and a couple others also stand out to me . i wouldn't say the vocals were nearly all bad, Asymptote does some interesting stuff
doesn't reach the same level as their self titled for me, but still great dream pop. always a fan of them and happy to see more
suuupaaaa enjoyable metal!!! i enjoyed this a lot but i do hope as it is the first good tiger album i've heard, along with it being an (albeit quite impressive debut album that their later work (especially their album coming out i believe tomorrow‽ exciting :> ) will turn out to be a more cohesive, smoother listen, as that is one of the only criticism that comes to mind with this lp
mostly bad or *just* listenable and unoffensive pop. parim päev, the self titled first track was pretty fun. i could see a path for future improvement and something more fun from it but past rockerfeller street what i've heard of jaani has sadly fell flat on that imo
spin sucks so much ass in particular,. interesting beat but holy shit those vocal effects tank it more than the wholly unnecessary cowbell
I LOVE JAPANESE JAZZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GREAT COVERS!!!

heard this album first about 3.5, maybe almost 4 years ago now, the first taste i ever got of jeff rosenstock was 9/11 fever and (for a while) unknowingly hearing him through craig of the creek. still have no clue how to fully feel about it other than.. i love you scrambles
tips for safe travels is the most a song has ever played with my feelings, only to be immediately hit with what comes around, one of my favorite songs about life ever
