Beautiful, heavy, and catchy. All that I could ask for. Best thing they've made since in the shadow of your former self.

Sadness - Circle of Veins

Although most of Sadness' work is utterly amazing, Circle of Veins stands out as the piece I find myself returning to the most. Every song on here is fantastic in it's own right, and I Follow Rivers stands out and is so captivating and it feels like it's connecting with my soul over it's nearly half an hour runtime.

I Follow Rivers also is sort of a mixture of every other song put together and it works out so fantastically that it almost overshadows the other tracks. Why ... read more

This was one of the albums that really got me in to metal in general. Every part of it is fantastic and really comes together to make one of the greatest metalcore albums ever. However, this album does what it does very well and some songs really stand out to me, such as For I Can, A Lament, Although I May Love You, and ... read more

I felt like this album was overall a good experience and had some great tracks, but also had a couple moments that were boring or otherwise unmemorable. The title track, Stamen and Pistil, Throat Cancer, and Vodka Butterfly especially were some fantastic tracks that I really enjoyed and will be coming back to. Dandelion Tea wasn't the worst thing I've ever heard but it was just pretty mediocre to me. Needles and Grotesque display were nice little short interludes and an intro that ... read more
