I went in to this expecting some sort of ethereal and irreplicable 80's masterpiece; a pretty reasonable presumption given the popularity of this album.
I look at other peoples reviews and the overall appreciation for this album and it feels like I'm listening to a whole different album. A very ambitious project with heavy riffs. The vocal work from LG is also great
There'll probably never be an album like this one ever again. It's post rock perfection put together in 4 songs which are all mind blowing. It's a work of art from beginning to end.

While garage rock typically isn't a genre that captures my interest, White executes the sound so god damn well on this album it's hard to not feel flattered
