There is a lot of emotional weight that's cradled with a lot of the tracks on this album. It hits you unexpectedly because you're blindsided by the masterful production and the profound range of the vocals. I can't get over how polished the production on this album is, it still blows me away how well-thought everything was. It's one of those projects where you really think about it immediately after finishing it. You get so invested with the tactical maneuvers and lyricism this album shifts through, that succeeding listens make the album even more enjoyable. This is the most refined I've ever heard from Grizzly Bear. They really took their progression as a band and created something truly magnificent. I will keep revisiting this album over the years because it really does age like fine wine.
