feel weird rating this cuz of the ethos around its release. hope more artists start releasing music just for the love of the game
Quad is clearly an incredibly talented producer and you can hear a lot of passion and heart put into this project. But the dozens of orchestral layers and effects are just superficial distractions from the songwriting, which at its core is lacking. Quad moves from passage to passage without any message being conveyed and relies on the wow-factor of genre-hopping to carry the listener through a voyage that's ultimately puddle-deep.
