No band is an island is one of the best scenes in a very long time, Westside Cowboy, Dove Ellis and now Martial Arts. This Ep is a great listen, it has the great guitar riffs of WSCB with less of an americana theme and instead a post punk sound. Give this a listen.
I love this psychedelic side of Mac. Only you could be his best song.
The first two songs aren’t good and massively let the album down as the rest is pretty good.
I think this is really good. At first I wasn’t sure about the AUTOTUNE!!!!! but after a dozen listens it sounds nice.
I think a lot of people rated and reviewed this after one listen which is understandable for individual songs. But this has massively grown on me.
Get along is such an underrated song. This is a EP released on vinyl in America and it’s amazing obviously because it’s pretty much all their early singles.
Such an amazing album. Definitely their best work as it uses their strong 60s influences in a way that isn’t as on the nose as their other albums, which are also great.
Really great stuff. Tomorrow would be in my top 5 songs of the 60s.
The worst thing about this album is that there’s about 8 surf gang producer tags crammed into every song, like we know who’s produced this we haven’t forgotten. The songs themselves are fine but we don’t need 33 of the same song. Over an hour is far too long.
Disappointing, who is this for? There’s barely any melody, the singing is whispered and dull and a lot of the songs just go nowhere. The instrumentation is interesting and well played but I come to the orielles for soaring Melodies, memorable riffs and chorus's. this album is just okay but it just shows that this band is becoming more dull with each album
Really like the first couple of songs classic indie but the the muse type songs I’m not such a fan of
