I had never heard of him before, but he’s really very good. A great style, somewhat soulful and soft rock. He leans toward the soft rock as defined by McDonald. He’s truly a highly underrated pioneer.
It was quite good, but since I’m a big fan of yacht rock and soft rock, I consider city pop to be somewhat inferior.
It's not amazing, but not entirely bad either. You don't really feel like they step out of their comfort zone, except on 'Movie Star'
That's my problem with this soulless pop that's been emerging lately. It's just an empty sequence that can't even be called an album. It just sounds like a compilation of bad pop songs.
This guy created an entire universe around this album. It’s less recommended to just listen to a track here and there — you really need to hear it all the way through. The jazz is incredible and his lyrics are poetic.
The older you get, the more you realize just how right Dan Fogelberg was. At first, I really wasn’t a fan. But as I grew up, his music started to truly move me. It’s not my favorite style, but you have to admit the guy was a genius.
I’m incapable of speaking badly about Johnny Mathis given his ambivalence and his ability to reinvent himself. However, I’m less of a fan of this album, which I sometimes find a bit repetitive despite some really strong hits.
This is probably the greatest song ever. I've listened to this a millions times but every time I'm so amazed.
Really good soft rock song. I like that's he's not fully yacht but stays rock on this
not a song that is really life changing but is quite a good song. I like his style and has a voice not that far from carmen.
This album is very cheesy and a big caricature of basic 80's rock. That's still my global thought but some songs are great
Always amazed whenever I listen to it. I feel like I've been transported to another universe
