Tether

What an unbelievable voice. Cavernous. Resonant. Alluring. I first took notice of Annahstasia when Lorde reacted to her song "Sunday" in a video clip I came across online. Since then her album has been on my list to check out, and I am so pleasantly surprised by how in addition to her vocals, the songs on "Tether" are equally as compelling on a melodic standpoint. Some of the most gorgeous, lush and intimate folk songs you will hear all year. My favorite has to be her collaboration with Obongjayar on the track "Slow", I had previously only been familiar with Obongjayar through his features on Little Simz's albums, and I did not expect him to sound this incredible on a folk song like this. His and Annahstasia's vocals meld immaculately together.

Not a single dud on this album y'all, 100% recommend, one of the best albums of the year for sure.
