I was realllyyyy enjoying the first half but sort of lost interest towards the end. Not enough slow tracks to balance it out IMO, and the songwriting can definitely let the amazing production down at times. Definitely will be looking out for Slayyyter in the future though.
This guy has a tonnnn of potential but, and I think this is something he improved in the deluxe, I wish that outside of the outros/transitions there was more variation in production. I know that he’s capable of it because of the outros and transitions. Overall still very solid and super refreshing to hear someone capable of this sophistication in rage music.
this feels like such a hard album to rate because of how hit or miss it is, which is why im not saying much more than that and giving it the literal middle rating.
I do like this sound, and I'm trying to make this review as unbiased as possible, but even then, as a 2hollis fan I really want to like this album, and I'd say that I do, but that's it. I just like it.
