Actually thought this was better than repetition, everything about it just clicked with me.

Some really stunning atmospheric work that perfectly compliments every area and scene. Pepper steak and the other battle themes are obvious standouts, but the ambient work in all the other tracks feel really unique and ear-catching despite how quiet or simple they can be. Great listen for a great game.
From what I've experienced until now this is nearly the pinnacle of midwest emo. Usually I enjoy this genre because of the cool riffs, which this album doesn't really focus on. Instead the appeal is mostly in the vocal harmonies, which I think perfectly compensate for the strengths I'm used to.
The length is just under an hour, and its filled with a lot of shorter songs. I don't find any of these ideas to be underdeveloped though, and it keeps the pace of the album going ... read more
