Objectively has the most musical variety, best melodies, and most interesting tone experimentation, and for that reason I think its the best shins album to ever come out, but I still don't think any album by the shins will ever top port of morrow, which easily has the more memorable tracks. One of the best albums ever written. The concept is so well fleshed out and the characters and developed well. They have clear arcs throughout the album and you can really feel their emotional state in the songs. The lyrics are amazing, and songs all go so hard. So overhated. its literally a comic book album and its sick. the concept is super fun and creative, the vibes are insanely cool and unique, and the songs are all such a great mix of classic rock n roll, power pop, and pop punk. Kinda cheesy but it fits.
All that stuff that made the fame amazing is all here. Weird ass bridges and catchy melodies. on top of all that it has tracks like alejandro and bad romance and all the other standout tracks from the fame monster. Goated. only song that i dont really fw is teeth. too weird for me.
One of the best indie rock albums ever made honestly. Most of the tracks are super memorable with amazing melodies and some varying unique instrumentation in each song. With each new listen i hear a new little detail in the instrumentation that I hadn't noticed before and it makes the songs a million times better. not to mention its such a vibe fr.
