the deluxe disc can be an album itself
score is weighted on how DIsc 2 improved the original release
original 75 -> deluxe 85
a solid album with some denominator points
i cant complain about japanese artists' rollout, because this is about the music. but what i can say related to the rollout, is how evident Satsuki's production style gradually changed overtime. from this maximalist production with ear screeching mixing, to overall, still the same maximalist production but more refined. (for comparison, see track 2 and 3)
and don't let this "album" deceive you. this is Satsuki's entire ... read more
Tyga's verse carried MTP's indian singing. it ain' even proper english.
im guessing that the producer had to dumb down the lyrics for MTP to rap over
this new era of charli xcx is confusing
unlike "Rock Music", this has more coherence and a good production. but for such a short song, it feels so repetitive with the chorus. same with the switch up in production. it's nice, but i wished it was combined with the song increasingly gets harsher as the song goes longer. ties with how the MV gets weirder as the song goes on.
not related to the song, but i wished the MV iterated more on the song's concept of "the world is ... read more
decided to only listen to this one due to the overwhelming critics reviews (compared to the other two albums)
i'll give Drake one thing only, he's fun in his monotone rapping.
aside from that? horrendous beats all around, except Road Trips. but that got ruined by the terrible tinnitus-inducing mixing instead. also, what fire lyrics, eh? seriously. WHAT fire lyrics???
" "life just hard", oh you dont say? you need a lil' *motherfuckin'* donation" that ... read more
this is probably the lowest i've rated for shigure ui
song is servicable, ui's "No thank Cute!" is true to the song, very cute
aside from that, song pretty normal. it fits the theme of the entire premise of the song, but nothing special either. best to listen with the MV, choreography, animation and graphics were as astounding as always
I'm just confused. it has its moments, but most of the track is incomprehensible and pointless glitches. am i listening to a song or having Windows 11 crashing on me?
due to the recent NEEDY GIRL OVERDOSE
this to me feels like the new internet angels
how the FUCK does this man create one perfect song, then stash away like 3 more of the same perfect song, but all unique and still soul crushing like the original
reading the lyrics on "Can I Friend You On Bassbook? Lol" is like the best decision i've made
still a relatively new voisona, so there's not much quality content for a 20 track LP run
still had fun listening to this album! even if some of the songs are nursery rhymes or memes
an improvement over the last project by Metric (which is already a great LP run btw)
in Romanticize the Dive, they're done obsessing over the crumbling world around them, and instead, emerges a sound of youth-like fun and sombre, even though they're probably well over their 50s, which is kind of part of their music's charm. always experimental with the newest sounds, but underlies a familiar world they've built for themselves.
the only illuminati scheme that i would fuck with.
second half of the song is a fucking banger, great utilization of the Denpa-tic leitmotif
