2019 pop music thrives, 2020 pop music dulls. justin bieber’s changes sees literally no artistic improvement from his last album, no changes whatsoever. originally wasn’t gonna review this, but yummy was a very quotable song, even though it’s a pretty trash song and that piqued my interest. i had enjoyed like one of bieber’s albums before, i believe it was journals. listened to it more than i should but i’m out of it now. purpose was good for when it was released but it still wasn’t an amazing album it was just fine, changes sounds like throwaway songs from purpose. they sound flavorless and lacks any experimentation (even though justin bieber isn’t really the type to do that). no song from this album sounds different. it’s like i’m looking at reds and greens, all the different shades that bieber presented with me, unluckily i’m colorblind so i don’t see the ‘purpose’ of this project. hahahahha i am a pun wizard, thank me for inventing comedy and shit

best tracks: i’m not sure if any, i guess the opener was good but i forgot its name and am too unbothered to go and check so :).
worst track: definitely a tie from tracks 2-17, actually the summer walker remix wasn’t terrible so 2-16
