This album bursts out of the with power and nostalgia that is unrivaled. Such synthpop cannot be stripped from the human soul. I came into this album with quite lowered expectations because I had heard he subsequent album first and while having amazing ideas was overall limited (and the st. anger snare didn't help). This album has its own range of small hiccups that aren't my favorite but the structure of these songs are fantastic. Great chill rock with plenty of emotion behind it. I love the jazzy experimentation and fun time signatures. The first 5 tracks really captivated me. The middle segment wasn't that stellar but the end got its footing again and ended strongly.
Namitape has finally reached consideration for the league of GOATS. With this long EP/short album, Namitape has proven that they can make incredibly solid synthpop with a signature sound. This release feels like what the last 3 albums were missing; which was consistency.
