The production has the perfect amount of low end without being muddy, and the drumming here might be the best in J Read's entire discog. A lot of the fills on this thing (take Parasite Gallows for example) are absolute insanity. The mid-paced sections even do a great job of making the album heavier without ruining the pacing of the project. Their best album.
The bass drum and guitars being brought forward in the mix just a tiny bit makes this one of my favorite Revenge records. More or less abandoning the mid paced sections of their last 2 projects means this is ~40 minutes of unrelenting, uncaring war metal.
It's decent. A lot of the songs go on for 20-30 seconds too long but if you're looking for disgusting, vile death metal then this album will serve you well.
I'd love to see these guys add a harsh noise element to their music. The effects on the vocals will seem like a bit of a tease to me until they do.
