A very simple and enjoyable album, just like any other pop song. It's not filled with creative moments, rich sound, and even more experimentation, but Sabrina's vocals will still be more enjoyable than some Taylor Swift's, and Sabrina's album can still satisfy you with casual listening.
It's a pretty nice album, but there's something wrong with it. I'm glad that the guys are experimenting with different genres, but their uniqueness is lost in this stream of sound.
I like Skinty Fia better, in the slow flow of which you float and gradually dissolve, slowly sinking into the atmosphere and getting great pleasure from it. And this album doesn't even need innovation to be cool. This album has the signature style of Fontaines D.C.
I'm not trying to say ... read more
It's probably just not my music. I barely managed to listen to this release until at least the middle.
The new release finally showed that a full-fledged album is not their format, it is too big for them, which makes their music too stuffy, boring and monotonous. The format that suits them is an EP, and the perfect example is the powerful "Mini mix" trilogy with diverse and short, but full-fledged tracks.
Plus, I was always strongly or weakly repelled by the singer's ... read more
I have always been attracted to the music of these guys, at the same time subconsciously causing anxiety, as if it were an audio version of a dream core, but at the same time it is a dream core at a minimum level, it is more pleasant than disturbing.
But if the previous albums created the mood of some kind of energetic punk rock and bold experiments, then the new album immerses me in the most comfortable and cozy atmosphere of home pastime.
He still combines interesting vocals and strange ... read more
Meh, and again some kind of anti-music, no wonder. This guy doesn't learn anything at all...
I don't even have the desire to write about it in detail.
I didn't expect anything at all from the album, because for me the best years of these guys' work are long gone, but in the end I really liked how well they combine the sound from their main album "Torches" and the most unsuccessful "Sacred Hearts Club", taking the best sides of both.
As a result, it turns out to be a rich, diverse and enticing instrumental from their debut album, the electronic shades of which created the highlight without capturing the entire ... read more
On the first two tracks, I already wanted to skip the album with the thoughts that this is the most boring and formulaic RnB, but as soon as I moved on to the next ones, the degree suddenly increased:
The structure began to sound more diverse and richer, but at the same time quite easy and harmonious for neo-soul.
The instrumental cleverly became the main instrument creating music, complemented by great vocals, and the atmosphere, as a whole, was immediately transformed.
Very graceful tempo ... read more
Another very small, but incredibly cool release from Tinashe, which, in my opinion, turned out even better than the previous one.
Throughout the eight tracks, the singer, as always, shows a very virtuoso command of her voice. She can sing at the highest and most delicate notes, sounding very soft and fabulous (My special homage to the Thirsty track).
She can descend to lower notes without losing the femininity of her voice. No matter how she plays with her voice, her vocals always sound as ... read more
I was really looking forward to Post Malone's album when I found out about the country sound, because I thought he would continue Beyonce's work with her COWBOY CARTER released this year, and also, like her, rethink the country genre as such.
But what did Post Malone do? He did not strain himself, scored a huge number of concerts with musicians of the last century in this genre, + some random people (There is no, for example, Willie Nelson, and this is a very big crime). As a result, ... read more
A delightful neo-soul ballad that raises a lot of really important topics, and is able to please you not only with text content, but also with gorgeous musical accompaniment, as well as quite interesting and bold musical solutions.
Her vocals began to sound less disgusting than on the last album and she began to sing like more or less normal people, but this did not save the album from absolute uniformity. You literally can't figure out if the next track has already started, or if it's still the previous one. And of course, the problem is in itself the maximum lack of ideas. It's just an empty music box, in which one melody is looped to fall asleep to it, and that's it.
It was incredibly hard to finish ... read more
Hah, cool release. It sounds like Yeat joined the Drain Gang and started making Bladee or Ecco2k style.
The tracks create a cool atmosphere and you can enjoy listening to them no worse than the music of the above-mentioned guys.
Meh, another release showing women in music not at their best. Its only advantage over other similar ones is a very small timekeeping. So, you know, if they put a gun to my forehead and give me a choice to listen to Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Megan Thee Stallion or Ice Spice, I'll choose Ice Spice, because anything is better than listening to the damn hour—long mixtapes of some Nicki Minaj.
But this does not save the release of Ice Spice from the problems that it is as monotonous as ... read more
