yes it's true. I AM a solar power truther, defender, warrior, etc., so I don't necessarily see this as a "return to form" for lorde or whatever but it was still overall a good time. some... questionable lyrical moments however. mainly in current affairs. why she had that lyric about pamela... who knows.
so yes, it's no melodrama, it's no pure heroine, and it's certainly no solar power, but it's still a very solid lorde project. see you in 5 years!

after butterfly and hearing a couple of snippets I was a lil nervous going into this... however I'm leaving pleasantly surprised! I think it comes with the territory that you're gonna find some corniness with marina lyrics, it kinda becomes an appeal. most times on this album it worked, and other times it was a little... hokey pokey... either way, I'm satisfied!
