basic and simplistic, starhip does not know how to deal with this group apart from playing with the visuals.
This is very 70's stfu. This album rescues everything that musically should be in a good album, originality.
The vocals are a mix of Sinatra and Turner, I'm in love with that kind of vocals lmao, and the lyrics didn't stay at the bottom, they are really good lyrics, lyrics that don't fall into the generic of today's pop music especially.
And to finish, this reminds me of Charly Garcia's two Argentinean bands, Seru Giran and La máquina de hacer ... read more
Chapell already has an assured place in the pop industry, I listened to the whole album and one thing I liked was that some of the songs sounded like they were from the 80s. I can perfectly play hot to go on a radio with 80's songs and go unnoticed, it's great! But musically it lacks improvement in some aspects, sometimes it falls back on the same structure, but the last song of the album was complete madness, in fact I don't know if I'm wrong but I think they sampled the ... read more
Dance all night is an underrated gem, gameboy has a different style and the rest was left in a commercial pop. It's not a bad album, but I feel it lacked something more, something that shouted that it's Rosé's trademark.
I would have liked some songs to have an APT style theme, because they tend to be boring, I listened to it twice and there is still a lot of room for improvement. Good for you rosie <3
This album took me by surprise holy shit. Honestly it's not Kendrick's best, I feel it's missing a little more Kendrick Lamar style hardcore rap. It doesn't take away from how much fun it is to enjoy this album, the intros to the songs are very very very very good, although luther could have been of better quality. Great job Kendrick!
Two songs I liked, but the lyrics are so hybrid, and the other songs are just the same, a copy and paste with a different rhythm and that's it
It's an underrated album, I love everything I explored here! Sure, it can get better, but it's fine musically.
This album is not Tyler's best, but it is a masterpiece, it shows what Tyler is all about musically and lyrically, he looked damn good showing as always that simplistic structure can be broken, with his far from basic lyrics and rhythms to have an astral trip, everything on this album is what Tyler always was, is and will be (or so I hope).
Quite a different sound from the current stuff, the girls were great, there were some songs that could have been improved according to the genre of the album, the rest is fucking beautiful. Birth is kind of like if Tyler the creator had a son with aespa and they called him newjeans, just perfect.
It's not bad quality, the lyrics are creative and original, I like it, but I don't like the structure. I just find it boring and I don't see anything that makes it stand out apart from the lyrics, musically it makes me sleepy.
I love aespa, it just has a problem that it becomes consecutive, they release first the songs that promise the album of the moment, and at the end you realize that they are not up to the level of the first songs. Whiplash is the main example, their main instrumental is crazy, and their choruses promise a lot until the other songs don't get out of their comfort zone, it's the same old structure and the same sounds, this is not bad, the bad thing is that they promised an original sound ... read more
The girls are talented, but the lyrics are often so simplistic. YG always uses the same structure musically, the same BP electronic sounds, click clack is the only one that saves from this, honestly it's a pretty original song despite its poor lyrics, but I have hope that they will improve little by little (The girls' voices are amazing).
