Adele’s 21 is basically the gold-medal breakup Olympics. It’s dramatic, it’s overplayed, and sometimes it feels like you’re trapped in a Kohl’s dressing room in 2011 — but you can’t deny how damn good she is at what she does. The big singles still slap, the deep cuts are solid, and her voice could crack concrete. Not really my lane musically, but I respect the craft. A strong album I’ll never need to hear again unless someone else puts it on.
