19 indeed boasts several distinct sounds by which Adele is given to do her thing. These are utilized quite harmoniously to fit her powerhouse vocal delivery, a stirring combination of her diverse influences ranging from the Cure’s Robert Smith to Philly soul queen Jill Scott to legendary rhythm ‘n’ folk chanteuse Karen Dalton.

She’s often at her best alone with an acoustic guitar instead of ornamented with retro R&B references. It’s easy to want to dislike something that the UK press, Perez Hilton and Kanye West are telling you to like, but Adele shows some real talent.

The co-writes – not as many as you might’ve expected – generally boom from the speakers. The self-penned efforts are bare-boned, erratically excellent but frustratingly blighted by Adele’s penchant for going beyond her capabilities as a vocalist.

I am deeply upset and sad after Tsunoda got spun out by Ocon 😤 so I listened to an Adele album
I thinks it’s a pretty good pop album but this definitely is her worst album which doesn’t mean it’s bad since it’s Adele we are talking about, the song writing is alright-good I would say the same for the production, the singing is fantastic as usual for Adele, this record is good but it doesn’t give me what I’m looking for when listening to Adele but it still is good, that’s why I came to the conclusion that it deserves a 6,5/10
Para empezar este album es muy minimalista y creo que esto es justo lo que le juega en contra, la voz de Adele es inigualable, pero las canciones llegan a aburrir
