Welcome back PEAK MODEL. After their hiatus following ONE PATTERN in which Hirasawa would start his solo career, P-MODEL has "defrosted" in 1992 with a complete transformation of their sound. This is a wonky, surreal Synthpop/Electro-Industrial album that oscillates between playful techno music and grating electronica with equal frequency. This is immediately evident from the beginning: SPEED TUBE is one of the most fun songs here, which is immediately followed by the irritating 2D OR NOT 2D. This pervades the whole album, making it difficult to consistently enjoy it. Though there's definitely interesting ideas here, I can't rate this too highly.
