D2X kicks off the hunger era of his career with some of his most hungry verses yet, over an electrifying boom-bap with a stunning guitar sample that is evocative of the grimy chicago boom bap sound found in the underground, a true representation of the city the MC hails from. Furthermore, the tie into the Chicago fire and it's usage as a metaphor for the song was extremely creative and overall I enjoyed this recorded.
