This album reminded me of Skrillex's newer dubstep style (like late 2010s-early 2020s) with old school dubstep, but with modern instruments. I do agree this album does get a bit repetitive and I don't know why did he decide to make an album almost 2h 30 mins long instead of splitting it (there is like 43 songs in there), but if you miss the pre-mainstyle dubstep era, then you might enjoy this album.
2 and a half hours of bland, half-baked, and incredibly boring tracks. How many are there? 43? And the album closer is an interlude? I seriously don't think there was ever a point where he reworked a song to try and make it sound more interesting or engaging. It also feels like there was such a low bar to entry on this project; artists often cut tracks that don't fit with the vibe of the album or aren't up to quality standards, but it doesn't feel like that happened ... read more
