Alright fellas, put down the complex chord progressions, weird time signatures, and whatever the hell you're studying, and go give this fine-ass mellow-sounding album a listen. Great album, perfect to listen to while multitasking. Wish i understood what she was singing about
What a surprise from this unknown artist first album. Great start to a career I anticipate will be a bright one. To compare to another artist i admire, it has all the vibes from Ana Frango Elétrico (edit: oh she's on the production team, nice).
The album starts slow and smooth but captures you right off the bat with her intimate, delicate and soothing voice.
Very tasteful mix of slow and boogie songs. Jazzy at times, funky and danceable, i'd say Prog Bossa Nova XD.
