A more gothic and death rock influence creeps into the midwestern hardcore to create a grittier and more colorful version of Integrity at the cost of the more traditional hardcore bone-crushing moments that would later develop for the band. Solos are straight forward and not looking like a tryhard... leaving the vocals to be front and center in the mix.
While different, I think it's a good kind of different. No more leftovers for the umpteenth time in a row.
