Why am I so bad at keeping up with releases, man.
While perhaps not as intriguing as "MONOEYE", Fellsius' 2nd studio LP more than makes up for it by delivering a far more consistent and enrapturing listening experience, using a lot of post-rock aesthetics in tandem with sound design more evocative of a Glacier or a voljum. An astonishing and very experimental mixture of uk bass and a bunch of other genres, it is a journey of incredibly weird melodies that somehow always hit. There is a bit of everything honestly but it's done with such a care and obvious talent that every song sounds like the definitive form of each genre it mixes, great stuff that sadly did not get a lot of attention

It feels like listening to two albums with different styles at once, but they don't go together very well. I guess my expectations were too high.
