Torque

Torque’s self-titled and only album has me extremely conflicted. I feel as though this album has glimpses of their technical expertise similar to their previous band, Vio-lence, with some pretty catchy groove, however, the album sometimes just feels straight-up lackluster and unoriginal, using influences and elements from the time (notably Pantera, Machine Head, and Metallica) that just didn’t fit the album’s direction.
