If I had to describe Cedars I'd definitely say it's dramatic, sometimes even overdramatic in fact. Of course, I'm not implying that whatever Pegg says on these songs is untrue or dishonest or that the lyrics are graphomaniacal. To be honest, they're often quite beautiful, I especially like the writing on The Mind Is Evil. What I think lacks on Cedars is some type of context that could've delivered the overall message better, and make me feel something as well. Pegg is sad, but we don't really ... read more
