Some idiosyncratic features distinguish it from other little-known Continental prog rock of the era, particularly the eerie yodeling vocals, though those are only occasionally heard. It's a dark record, and obviously intended to provoke and disturb; it's just not too special.

Come ogni band italiana progressive rock che si rispetti, il primo disco è irraggiungibile, e il gruppo è destinato a calare...

What a ride. The thing that struck me the hardest was just how fast this album could transition from amazing avant-prog jams to (sort of) undeserved experimental electronic tinkery. When Area locks in and goes crazy, this album can get really, really freakin' amazing—the ending of Cometa Rossa had me losing my shit, same goes for ZYG.
