These cats are the future, man.

Pty's SUPERSTITION is a weird, off-kilter, experimental atmosphere fueled by avant-garde jazz and warbly industrial segments, seized by a rotating door of some of the modern underground's finest emcees. Every single one manages to make a strong and unique impression, making sense of the soundscape in totally different, if complementary, fashions.

If you fucked with the recent ØKSE debut, this album strikes a similar chord. Tap in with celerity.

Dense, abstract, cryptic and impenetrable to a fault. There are definitely pockets of brilliant experimental hip-hop in here but it's shrouded by unnecessarily long passages of industrial noise and pensive ambient nothingness. I don't really feel confident calling any of these tracks my favourite because they each have high points and low points. The closing track is probably the most consistently enjoyable throughout.
