There is a gripping grit to Xiao that sets them apart. The embracement of distortion is done much differently than their American Counterparts. It's metallic and dark and filled with an authentic rage. Tracks like "Control" and "Who Pays the Real Price" where the band is really dialed in and delivering top notch powerviolence material.
@mortonsalt thank you for the recommendation! Control was simple, fun, fast paced hardcore that may not have added anything ground breaking but definitely delivered that pissed off aggression. Not much else to say nor ask for. Overall Xiao certainly gave a fun short release
