This song is just a solid and memorable alt metal song. I've really enjoyed Split Chain's combinations of Alt Metal, Grunge, and Shoegaze that obviously calls back to the 90s and early 2000s era. I'm happy to finally see the band announce a full length album. I think this is one of their better songs to be honest. I love the hook, its been stuck in my head for days.
While it's absolutely engaging and captivating, part of me is thinking "okay when are you going to jump out of the shadows of Nothing, Deftones, and Teenage Wrist"?
