Spot the Difference

As much as I have enjoyed this band over the years, the redo of their previous recordings has most of the cuts sounding exactly as their predecessor. With a couple of notable exceptions where the vocals revealed the aging voice, the musicality remains intact which ultimately leaves this CD feeling like a trip down nostalgia lane for reasons unknown. Not bad. Not great. Still fun. Why wouldn't you want to pull your mussels from a shell?
