The recording quality isn't the best here. Kinda feels muffled. Nailed. Dead. Risen. also feels a bit generic. I still think it's a good deathcore album. Impending Doom definitely carried some solid energy and brutality throughout the album but I'd rather listen to a Whitechapel album or other early deathcore artists than relistening to this. But like I said I think its a good album there's just not a whole lot here
ah yes, back when Deathcore was still bdm + hxc. good times.
Nailed. Dead. Risen. surely hits hard, but it fails to be perpetually interesting over its runtime. the hidden track sucks too, and also i'm giving this another L because christianity
Genuinely didn’t expect this to be so sick. An underrated deathcore release when the genre was still trying to find the mainstream.
