Angry Metal Guy
Benthos offers promise with the softness for the foreplay and the vigor for the penetration, but From Nothing has difficulty keeping it up across its forty-five minute runtime with too-long portions of pretty monotony and excessive indulgence, but armed with a vocalist both sexy and devastating and an instrumental presence as bonkers as it is patient… goddammit, I need a cold shower now.

BREAKING NEWS: Progressive metal band actually pushes boundaries and makes something different from what Periphery, BTBAM, Haken, and VOLA were already doing in the 2010s. This is incredibly rare nowadays.

This album is very good until the last 4 tracks, at which point I feel it falls off pretty hard.

Loved this on first listen. So many interesting moments but seems to deteriorate on repeated listens. I still feel it's worth the time to listen at least once as it sounds nice and has those moments that keep it interesting.
