The grandiose finale to the trilogy. Not only does this hold my favourite song they have ever released in chokehold, this was a force of nature in the world of alternative music. Incorporating a multitude of sounds bending and blending several genres that helped show their diversity and individuality, which is a quality I credit for helping make heavier music more accessible for new listeners. The Guitars are heavy and well rounded, bass following both bringing it together and Lajon soaring like an angel over the top. Sounds like they ... read more
Honestly? Nothing astonishing but great to hear a band of their era still coming in with a strong set of songs. Got some solid riffs and decent ideas. While I am not blown away by it I understand it's an EP that has done exactly what it needed to do in giving me an idea of where they are at as a band at the moment and how their sound has evolved
