Ape has a much more technical approach to the groove. Great bass presence. Tatiana is a great vocalist, the instrumentation here I think is what stands out though, many different little influences under the funky grooves.

Dreadful Moments is solid and in more of a traditional structure but I think Ape is stronger. Teacher Teacher is definitely my favorite here, great vocals and chorus. Really well done track.

Perennial is a nice closer, slow building with excellent pacing. Really solid EP.

Quite an interesting EP here. Jinjer mixes the modern metalcore sound with a "prog-ier" edge and it surely distances them from their peers. For once, the production is so sweetly crisp and organic that it immediately makes them stand out from the average overproduced metalcore band. Micro shows Jinjer further improving on their sound and Tatiana yet again showing her amazing vocal abilities. The instrumentals on here are probably my favourite when compared to their two albums, which makes me excited for any future work they put out. I loved pretty much all of the tracks on here, but I don't feel like I'd be coming back to this EP much.

this is the variety and quality I was looking from them. While the lyrics were a bit corny "Teacher, Teacher!" for sure brings that sonic variety I expected and hoped for from this band. Some great heavy riffs at the start but devolving into some more lush mellow guitars and drums and great vocal performances from Tatiana overall.
Then after you get "Perennial" which does all that but better. this EP really sparked up what this band could be and I can't help it all ... read more

For the time being, no discernible quality difference from Wallflowers. I love this so much. the chord progression at the end of Perennial meant a lot to me omg, reminded me of DM DOKURO. <3
