Aitch has a high ceiling as a rapper, but he isn't a guy who really needs a 16 track LP.
Most songs here settle really well, it's his best produced project to date but Aitch is a pretty formulaic rapper, when he is in his own bag he is fantastic but he isn't as good when he ventures into new styles, and he can find himself chasing beats on the album, the album starts off with a couple sounds that I wouldn't say suit Aitch, but on the flip there are generally some great ... read more
Aitch's “4” is pretty disappointing. Im one of the few who really liked the singles: Aitch's rapping mixed with fun, chaotic pop rap production made listening fun and his cadence and flows fit perfectly. That being said, this shows his tendency to take it too far. I don’t mind songs about sex, nor do I mind them being a lot, but Aitch sounds like the local nitty trying to get boombayah in an alleyway on some songs.
