I didn't quite love it on the first listen, but it definitely grew on me exponentially. It's a pretty standard shoegaze album, but there are quite a few gems if you listen closely - personally, I really enjoyed 'No Pulse' and 'Gasoline' as they had more melody and dynamism in their guitars. Since it's a pretty subtly melodic album, it might take a couple of listens to fully digest it.
enjoyed this a lot. i’ve never been good at telling apart how certain subgenres sound, so i can’t exactly pinpoint it, but in songs like gasoline it feels like something other than the typical shoegaze, kinda why it’s my favorite song from the album
